Some things to remember about Mayweather come fight night

I'll give him 4 if it goes the distance. I don't think this is going the distance. Floyd by stoppage on accumulation.

I hope Mayweather pressures Cotto - and I bet Cotto hopes so, too. I think Cotto would love nothing more than to get into a slug-fest pissing match with Floyd. In fact, I bet Cotto's strategy is built about bringing to fruition such a slug fest.

Like I've said before, Cotto has been to the land of Blood and Misery and returned complete. Now...it's time for Floyd to visit that land and Cotto will be his tour guide.

 

As a fitness professional, whose studied nutrition a great deal, I do agree with this. Junk food/Processed food iis a big seller b/c it is very in expensive to make and has long shelf life. However, it does cause to body to function improperlyt overtime. With that being said, the way Mayweather and other top conditioned athletes train, though it isn't helping him, I doubt its hurting him, at lest while he is still active.

 

If he can manage to do what Mosley did in round 2 of his fight with PBF, then he may have a chance.

From what I've read and the short training videos I've watched, i think Cotto is going to Occupy ring center and let Floyd come to him - like Castillo did in his second fight with Mayweather. When they engage, I figure Cotto is going to throw combinations at Floyds chest and take a headshot or body shot as it comes available - but by aiming at the chest he will try mightely to at least hit Floyd's arms, hands or chest with every shot in order to screw up his timing and negate his speed - he must negate Floyds timing and speed if he is to have a chance. Also, Cotto must stay out of Floyds pocket unless he intends to throw first, and throw combinations - and do so at any cost.

If I were Pedro, I would say this to Cotto no matter what the plan, "Stick with the plan, or plans, we have designed in camp and execute them at any cost - and expect them to take some time to work. And if you think that getting hit while executing a plan sucks, then consider how bad Floyd will make you pay if you get off plan!"
