    Folks,

"Hops-Dawson 1" last October sucked on PPV. 'Nuff said there.. So, come the regular HBO rematch this April 28, what will be different.?.? Will age be too much of a factor for B-Hops to overcome? I think so. Last year I thought Hops had Chadwick Dawson's youthful number with ease going into the fiasco, but after seeing a motivated Dawson slam dunk Hops in round 2 in which Hops seemingly wanted out of the fight at that juncture, I'm now going with team Dawson to snatch the crown off B-Hops' bald head next week...
    :bbb
All in all, I'm glad regular HBO has seen the light. PPV? My ass... PPV is way outta control as of late... I heard the first fight of 2011 sold LESS than 100,000 sales...

    Who's picking who?:huh

I don’t think there was enough to go by in the first fight to make people change their minds. They were just feel-out rounds between two very defence-conscious fighters.

I always regarded Chad as tricky matchup for the old man. Which is why I wished he would have just retired on top after beating Pascal. There was no need to come back and take a risk with this guy. :verysad

I’m sticking with my initial thoughts before the first fight – Chad by decision.

I agree...... In my view, Hops has now gotten too cocky and greedy... Hops should have retired after his 2011 title win over Jean Pascal a year ago...
    :deal
I see Dawson being too young and spry for Hops in '12...:bbb

Hopkins always puts forth his best performance when he's the underdog. Plus he's a slow starter so I don't think the 2 rounds that Dawson won in the first fight are too indicative of how this fight will go. It's a 50/50 fight IMO.

If I had to pick I would say Dawson by MD/SD/Close UD

Hops' age of 47 has me wondering.... I think 2012 is the end of his era....

I believed Hopkins was going to beat Pascal, and he did twice. But he should have called and end right there

Dawson is a better skilled fighter than Pascal imo despite the loss, and with his height, athleticism, and workrate he can pose big problems for Hopkins. Im going for a Chad UD

First of all i believe Dawson to have a better skill set to Hopkins , thats current Hopkins , he's younger , stronger , sharper , and more hungry than Hopkins

Dawson has a mental problem , he won't fight , he'll sit behind a jab for 12 rounds , if / when Dawson realises that he isn't going anywhere unless he lets his hands go , then he'll be nothing more than a world champion at most , if / when he starts to fight , then he can go onto be a dominant world champion at 175 and 200 , the guy has it all , it all depends on how he uses his skills

I think Dawson is going to be much bigger and stronger than Hopkins and lay it on him for the majority of the 12 , intact i may just go all out and have Dawson on stoppage , accumulation around 10 / 11 , and if he beats Hopkins it may just be the catalyst to wake up the sleeping giant

Or he might sit behind a jab and potentially lose a scrappy fight having thrown 20 punches a round

Well, its do or die for both dude's... B-Hops at age 47 cannot keep going back to the wishing well after a big fight loss anymore in 2012, and Chadwick Dawson who's been a paper champ already has been testing everyone's patience as to whether or not he's gonna take over at 175 and be the freakin' man... Yes, fact is, BOTH NEED to win this fight...

Hopefully Hopkins won't dog it this time. Dawson in a dull, dull UD.
