Indeed. When you skewer sacred cows you've got to expect a negative reaction.

I don't think anyone with an ounce of sanity would question their dominance over today's heavyweights. What that dominance actually means in context is where people get carried away and make ridiculous claims.

This statement pretty much sums up how ******ed Klit-tards are. They are each others co-champions, and they refuse to fight each other. Understandandable given that they are brothers, but their so-called greatness has to be evaluated with that consideration. Lewis beat every man he faced, Tyson was the youngest ever undisputed HW champ, Ali had an amazing resume, etc, etc, but the Klits have not achieved anything TOGETHER that a lot of other fighters have not achieved alone.

Oh, and their fans are complete ****s for the most part.

The majority of threads about the brothers are from traumatised fans who can't get over Lewis being an almighty blotch on Vitali's record that will never be removed.
I admit I didn't like the brothers for years but I came to realise I had it wrong, and they were OK guys, even though I rate them as excellent fighters, not great.
But when I joined ESB someone was kind enough to warn me that the imbecilic fans will incite resentment towards the brothers when you read some of the **** they post.
And so it came to pass...
Nothing to do with race, nationality or ability. All about the ******ed fans whose necks you couldn't burn with a blowtorch when they come on with their bull**** threads about Lewis yet say everyone else is bitter!!!!!:patsch
As long as a certain number of the more backwards Klit fans are sending abuse my way,I'll know I'm on the right side of normal.:good

Well, Byrd has a blotch on his record too, another "TKO" loss. . . Yet we all know Vitali was winning both fights. . . And neither is a "real" loss. . . Both won by default. . . It is what it is, though. . . I have no bitterness, because I know that Vitali would have easily beat Byrd in a rematch, and he retired Lennox Lewis. . .

I also know that he's an absolute beast, who would at least be a 50/50 fight with any HW from any fistic era. . . .

ANd Wladimir will go on to break Joe Louis' record of HW defenses.

Aye! Lol. . . They are just psised because there is no great black hope @ HW. . . Ahhh, how the movie "The Great White Hype" is all the more funny, and ironic watching it now. . . .

Well, I remember in the 90's the American media were particularly begrudging in giving Lewis any praise.
    That only came much later...

If you're right, then that makes me sad. A fighter should always be judged on talent and ability alone, imo.

    u don't think he will?

he's already just about halfway there. . . he's definitely got 4-5 more years of 2-3 fights per. . . dont see anybody having a shot at beating him. . .

not saying he'll be "as great as" joe louis, not at all, but he'll prolly break it. . and he would almost certainly beat louis head 2 head.

I'll bet at least 60% of the people on ESB who have no time for the brothers (notice I didn't use the word "hate" because I reckon very few actually do feel that way) are that way inclined because of imbecilic fans who spend their lives making nonsencical threads and arguments about Vitali "retiring" Lennox:patsch The guy was 39 and well past his best! And the Klittard's boy still got beat. Can you imagine what a 33 year old Lennox would have done to Vitali?:think

    King Khan....mmmm..:think
