If these potential match ups were competing for your PPV cash, who would you shell out for A four man tournament LHW between A The old guard Randy Chuck Tito Hendo B The Next Generation Shogun Machida Evans Lil Nog C The new breed Jones Bader Davis Gufstafsson Which series of fights would be more entertaining? If you could only pick one set to watch which ones would it be?
I agree, doubt they would ever fight though. Id go for B myself, just because Shogun v Machid 3 has the potential to be the mosty violent display of skillls
A or B great set of fights C is straight forward jones walks through every1 Davis and Bader are ****! Well not **** but pretty 1 dimensional IMO
Well to be fair you could argue that the guys in class A are all 1 dimensional in their own ways, funnily enough you'd probably consider their fights more entertaining. Is it an attitude or a skills thing...
For me it's B.... A and C are to clear IMO....A Hendo now would prolly take the cake....and C Jones would prolly destroy anyone... So B for the best match up !
I wouldnt wanna see much of the old guard because aside from Hendo we have seen those guys fight so often that being Tito, Chuck and Randy. I wouldnt care too much for the C divison because IMO Jones easily beats all 3. Now Shogun, Machida, Little Nog, Rashad id love to see it. Wouldnt mind a 3rd Shogun-Machida fight at all, ive always wanted a Lil Nog and Shogun rematch, Shogun and Rashad where supposed to fight a bunch of times and I think Lil Nog vs Rashad but especially Machida would be one hell of an interesting fight.
These "generations" are all screwed up. It should be: Shogun Machida Jones Gustaffson (Davis and Bader aren't on the level of those 4) Evans is right below, but I believe loses to all 4. But I'll choose C from the choices given because it has the most appealing matchup Jones vs Gust
Oh I was thinking, when they were the top fighters...not debuted. I was wrong. For all we know though, Bader may be gone in a year or two, like Vera is. But Shogun and Machida still top 5 fighters. How then, would Bader be a generation after them?
It's gotta be B. Many great matchups there. I don't really care much about A, we've already seen those guys fight so many times, and all of them have deteriorated more or less. C would also be good, it's just that Jones would beat the living **** out of everyone, so we would simply look for the #2.
