    Joe cortez is the ref so khan runnin, pushing and holding like a ***** will be allowed since cortez sucks as a ref. Id be willin to bet that if khan wins he wont give peterson the same rematch. Then his fans will say why should he blah blah. khan, if he wins will eeeek out a decision. I think if lamont wins it will be very convincing.

    Lol I think u were watching the wrong station. Niether of them were seriously hurt. I think khan got hit with the more solid shots but both never got hurt.

    Fair fight the first time apart from Khans constant fouling. But i forgot we should re write the rules for Amir Khan, looks like Amir has got bigger than boxing...
    I hope Khan gets his arse handed to him, theres no way khan will ever be able to fight in the pocket..

    Why? Because of the 'Knockdowns'. Peterson was never once hurt by Khans Potter Patter punches. Khan was hurt multiple times.

    Let me clear up this crap^

    Khan got wobbly/weakened legs about two times
    Peterson got wobbly/weakened legs twice (not from either 'knockdowns' but from an uppercut in one of the earlyier rounds and once in the 9th)
    Boths the knockdowns were just bad balance, with the first bieng a trip over Joe Cooper
    Peterson did have visible swelling to his right eye from Khan's left hook & jab which may have closed up if Khan hit harder
    Overall neither fighter got seriosly hurt


    On Cortez as ref:

    Watch Ortiz Vs Mayweather before he messed up. He Let Ortiz fight an 'inside' fight.
    I wouldn't worry about Cortez not letting Peterson fight on the inside or in the pocket....
    The main problem with Cortez is whether he has the ability to keep up with the pace of the fight

    Why because lampley said?
    he wasnt hurt, nor was he anywhere near getting stopped. It was a nice little straight but didnt have much effect more offbalance from peterson. But the same kan be said when lamont caught him with a huge left to the body.
