I think Marquez would stop Valero but it would be a war, sadly the boxing gods didnt give us the opportunity to see this fight :-(

I love both fighters, but I go the other way. I think that Valero never gives Marquez a rest, and stops Marquez late. A UD might be more logical when referring to this fight, but Valeros quick and heavy hands might be too much for Marquez to overcome.

Even if the "boxing gods" did.. I'm sure Arum would still prevent it!!!

Karma is slowly building up on Arum, the boxing gods are biding their time

Slowly but surely, one day Arum will look up in glee at a big promotional billboard for Pacquiao V Mike Jones as he has conned the public once again but to save money he uses a cheap labouror to fix the sign . . . . on of the bolts holding the board up comes loose and it bends over falling fast from the sky. Shocked Arum tries to run but due to his old age he can not get very far until it is too late . . . . Arum is killed by the very same thing he had created and young children run into the street to celebrate . . . . and steal his shoes

haha at the people picking valero.....the guy was as flawed as they come and aside from speed (which wasn't even that exceptional) and power he was very basic.....he would have eaten straights and uppercuts from the 1st bell and eventually retired late.....no way valero wins this one

If Pacquiao couldn't stop Marquez, Valero does not stop Marquez.

Marquez boxes his head off easily, Valero is becoming one of the biggest dead hypejobs in recent history.

I doubt he would even last the first round tbh. Pac had him down 3 times in the first when Marquez was at his best weight and Valero is clearly a much better finisher than Manny. Valero TKO1

Uchiyama went the 12 round distance with Hero Bando.

Valero stopped Bando in the first round.

Uchiyama is currently the P4P biggest puncher in the sport.

Valero was the P4P biggest puncher in the sport, evidentially more so than Uchiyama.

Uchiyama would stop JMM within 6 rounds.

Valero would have stopped JMM within a round.

    Simple.

When you think that Michael Katsidis put JMM down as well, it's hard to see how Valero wouldn't seriously damage him.

Marquez definitely owes the boxing Gods big time.
