Give him his respect right now!
    He don't play with dolls.:nono
Would have been better if him and Vargas had fought earlier though. But the guy has been top drawer entertainment.

He was a complete pain in the ass to fight when he was serious and in shape. After the Spinks fight he wasn't a serious fighter. As part of the US intelligence leaks, it was revealed that Mayorga was involved in a **** incident in 2004 and blackmailed to continue fighting and give up most of his purse. In exchange, he was kept out of prison.

Anyone crazy enough to drop their hands and allow Forrest to drop bombs on them is a ****ing legend in my book.

He's not slick and fancy, but he can hold his own and he's fun to watch.

Mayorga vs. Kirkland needs to happen!

    Yes a G..
    Beating Forest Twice made him
The losses to DeLaHoya, Mosley, and Cotto made me a fan because of the humility he showed after losing..

But that dude can sure hype a fight..!

Where is the proof I would like to check this out..

I remember getting up (I'm UK based so boxing matches - main event - in the US kick off at 5am UK time) and watching his scrap against Vargas, pumped as ****, shaking like a leaf...the man is ****ing brilliant, hypes it up comes out like a pub fighter, ****ing awesome.

Agreed. Mayorga is awesome and really fuked up prime Vernon Forrest. That's a huge accomplishment in itself.

Nah, nothing compared to letting Trinidad tee off on him twice. That was the most macho display I've ever seen.
