I think Morrison has a good chance to KO him, especially if he takes the fight seriously and doesn't go out and try to bomb him out in the 1st.
I see both men being decked, with Carnera having protracted moments of great success only to hit the deck, recover, and stubbornly hang in there and tag Tommy with something that shakes him up and decks him in return, lasting the entire 15 with an exhausted Morrison losing a close decision. Tommy was no Max Baer, either in power or in chin and if Carnera would keep getting up vs Maxie, he'd be even more stubborn with Tommy Morrison.
Tommy was no Max Baer as far as chin or durability but he had plenty of pop in his hook, even by Baer standards. And he delivered his punches with speed, not those telegraphed from last week right hands Max threw.
Primo would be all the more encouraged by his success in being able to hurt Tommy..and in being able to outbox him.
:dealThis...plus, as I recall, primo was able to deck a certain ...mmm..what's his name, ..Jack Sharkey...yeah, that's his name, who was btw, heavyweight champion..and according to the concensus of the might Classic Forum, this was a legitimite ko....and acccording to that same concensus, primo could box a little as well
