    who were the tallest boxers ever ineach weight division and how tall ?
    heavyweight= valuev 7ft 2
    welter must be between hearns and williams

    Munyai is a Bantamweight I think, and is 6,0ft tall.

    he's not world champ,though i think he will be, boxrec has him 172cm but watching him fight power i thought he looked taller

    Williams looks 6'3 at Welterwheight

    Pavlik is 6'2 at Middlewheight.

    i think he was about 6.10
    he fought in the early 80`s.

    cannot remember a 7.0 fighter from the 70`s.

    THere are a lot of Giant Heavyweights currently active. Only Valuev (7')Fields (6'9") Julius Long (7'1") and Lance Whittaker (6'8) most fans know about. There is Rick Dyer who is 6'9 but awful. Alexander Kabanov 6'8.5, lots of guys 6'7.5 like Alexander ustinov, Vitali, Timo Hoffman etc.

    all time there have been a few 7'4 guys...John Rankin, Jim Cully and George Mitu.
    I've heard Harry Gunson who boxed in the late 1800's was reported to be 7'2.
    James Oyebola was 6'9.
    I'm probably missing a lot of giants.
