Absolutely important fight to happen. ---a factor to consider in future 'Vitali vs Wlad' -fantasy match-up discussions.
Haye does not have the stamina, heart or workrate to put a dent in Vit. Didnt he already fight and easily lose to "the weaker bro"?
This content is protected Froch on David Haye: "I like the guy - He's ballsy, He's gutsy, He's a warrior, he means business when he gets in there and i think he's going to do business." This content is protected Lewis on Haye: "If David is able to stay with his game plan and move and throw combinations, he should do very well. Haye is light but he can use it to his advantage." This content is protected Tyson on David Haye: "David has never shown the punching power to force a guy of Klitschko's calibre into reverse gear," "He was not ready, He should've had more fights at Heavyweight before facing the Klitschko's" Damn you Tyson.
I'd like to get my hopes up, but won't without some valid news. Maybe we can get Chef to offer some credible input. Chef? What about it? What is the lastest on Haye/Vitali?
Why do people want to see Haye fight again ? He's even more boring than the Klits. Anyway, I thought the boring **** retired.
atsch Lets look at it this way: Who has better balance & footwork? Vitali, by a mile. Who is more powerful? Vitali has the highest KO% in the history of modern boxing. Who has more technical skills? Vitali, without question. Who has better punch accuracy? Vitali, again. Who is tougher, in general? Vitali Who has a better chin? Vitali walked through Lennox best shots. Who talks more ****? Haye Who makes more excuses? Haye Who has the weaker resume? Haye Who can't string together 3 punch combo's because their balance sucks? Haye Who spends most of their ring time running like a coward? Haye Who has something to prove after being exposed as a B Level fighter (at best)? Haye Does that answer your question?
But this is David Haye we are talking. His legend grows yet his resume stays the same. He earned this shot after going to WAR with Barrett, beating on the back of Ruiz's head, fixing a fight versus Audley, getting a gift decision for a paper title against Valuev and fighting like a complete useless coward against Wlad.
Vitali was a big deal. He could have beaten Lewis in the mid-nineties by boxing smart. Lewis will tell you in his memoirs that Vitali was his toughest fight-- more so than Rahman, McCall.
