I really hope so, my lad. Seth looks very promising to me.

But I disagree that Wlad is the final stage of his career. He just peaked 1-2 years ago and he wont take anyone lightly. Wlad got a good 2 years left to dominate und unify the last green belt.

Solis didn't look like a top 10 HW vs Austin. Mitchell looked like a world beater vs Tiggy.
I'll be fair and say Solis held his own with Vitali for 1:30 seconds, but so did Herbie Hide:lol:.

I think Mitchell vs Solis would hurt Solis career very badly. He needs to keep fighting the soft punchers and lucky top 50s like Ding and Arrich. Those should eb his next 2. Arrich then Ding, then on to bigger fights vs guys like Dimitrenko, Adamek....guys that can't KO him so easily.

Mitchell would buckle his knees so bad that they'd be irreparable.

I'd favour Mitchell over Povetkin and give him an equal chance vs Fury.

  5. Yeah but 2 years isn't really a long time especisally if he's only gonna fight 2-3 times a year. I think Wlad has a few more good wins in him and he will get that WBC belt but I think he will leave the sport on his back quite shockingly too. The new class of heavies that are coming around seem real good.
We got that Magomed who is like a left handed Foreman,Richard Towers seems good,Edmund Gerber,Andy Ruiz,Bryant Jennings etc
the UK and the USA actually have multiple HW prospects coming up now so things should be good.

I disagree. I think Solis -- assuming he's healthy -- would have way too much for Mitchell. Big difference in fluidity and pedigree here.

    I'm not so sure.

Magomed is nothing like a young Foreman. Mago can pack power, but his basic skills are woefully lacking. He's always off balance. He will probably never rectify his defensive flaws, which are very serious.

Towers: I don't know anything about him.

Gerber: I haven't seen him fight, so I can't say. But just the fact that his bouts take place only in Germany is suspicious looking. Do you realize that they fix fights over there?

Andy Ruiz: I don't know anything about him.

Bryant Jennings: I give him an a solid A+ rating so far. He beat a tough fighter in Liakhovich. That's no easy feat, particularly since Liakhovich came close to crumbling Helenius last year. Jennings may go far.

Yeah I think Solis is now underrated by showing up fat, being lack lustre, and having a crumbling knee (he still look like he got dazed by that glancing shot from vitali before his knee went). But I think he beats most out there if he is fit and got his mind right. I think he whips mitchell's arse if he is focused, and healthy.

He reminds me of a lack lustre Tua to be quite honest (in attitude). I almost think his career is a case of being over before it has even really got started.

I'm sorry but you have to give me more time to get over the fact that someone told me he was "The Next Tyson."
    Everybody is, right?

Maybe because I'm so used to fighters of the past and I still compare to those fighters... but Seth lacks a lot of technical ability. I just don't see "it" at this point. Not in training and not in his fights. But he started late so we'll give him time.

When he starts to look even close to this, train like this, come back to me
