Shavers never won a title. Doesn't stop old school fans from claiming him as the hardest puncher of all time, does it?

So what? None of the guys Shavers KOed were considered iron chinned. Who did he KO with a chin as good as Ruiz and in as brutal a fashion? Who did he knock unconscious with one punch?

So Ken Norton had a stronger jaw than Ruiz? Ken Norton was knocked out in a more brutal fashion than John Ruiz? Yeah, whatever man.

Tua had probably the hardest left hook ever. He just wasnt as good overall as a fighter as Tyson or Frazier

Yeah I'd go with that. Tua's raw power was insane. His boxing skill wasn't.

I think Tua followed by Gerry Cooney. If either guy landed their left hooks flush it was horrible to watch. The problem was both of them were kind if akward and could not land clean against good movers.

Also anyone that says Wlad need to go and watch a few ****ing youtube videos.

Another deadly left hook belongs to Denis Boytsov. Not sure what to think about the rest of this fighter, at this point, but his left hook is devastating.

  15. Tyson was no where near the puncher that Tua was. Mike was a 5 round KO artist using speed, combos and technical skills. Tua could kill you at any time with that left or right hand also. I'm not saying Tyson wasn't a great puncher but I would bet anything that Tua hit harder especially with the left hook. Tua started fighting professionally at just 200 pounds also and that power was there!
I think Tua did have a better left hook than Mike and Cooney and Frazier and Morrison.
I think Joe had the most accurate left though.
