5 - 0 Alvarez, both of them jabbing, boring.

I don't know what is worse this fight or the arena blasting ****ing Nickleback.

    Round 6

Alvarez is now pushing Saunders' head back with his jab, placing it on point but not really snapping it much. Saunders comes forward and chops with a right hand over the top, then leans to one side and tosses his slow jab. Saunders keeps jabbing and Alvarez gives some ground to step out of its way. 3-shot combo by Alvarez while circling left. Accidental headbutt, warning to both by Marlon Wright. Nice up-jabs by Alvarez from outside. Saunders marches forward and lands his own jab from the high guard, squared up. Saunders jabs up from the hip and then forks one straight out from chest level. Alvarez keeps squatting and countering with his own left jab.

    60-54 Alvarez

Alavarez isn't slow, nor sloppy. And while his shots have snap, he doesn't appear to have the same type of thudding power as some of his compatriots...

Are we sure he's from Columbia, originally...? :think

That would be very impressive (being that it is an 8-rounder) - since it took Ismail Sillakh until the tenth to do it.
