The way he acted after the fight was both sad & scary. Pat Burns looked like he wanted to cry.

If he doesn't retire he's going to end up a veg.

Burns' smile was painfully hard to maintain. There will likely be a serious discussion sometime in the next week...

if I were Jermaine's trainer I would try to make him an all out right hand puncher because he will not be lasting the distance, which he what he tries to do. And they cannot make him a puncher. Too bad fights were not 4 rounds. He might do well.

Another strange thing about the post-fight interview was that Taylor stated at least twice that he had been knocked out 4 times. That's not right; he's only been KO'd 3 times. Pretty weird that he would get that wrong?!

    **** AA!

Pavlik is the one who originally softened Taylor's chin.

I mean, Taylor's chin was NEVER that good to begin with. Old man Hopkins had on him ***** street in their first fight. Alot of ppl (including me) knew that he would be ****ed once he faced a puncher.

Having said that, in his prime he wouldn't have been getting hurt by this Caleb bum. So its really time for him to retire.

I NEVER thought the day would come where I'd pick Chavez Jr to KO Taylor. But that day has come.

Andy Lee would clock Taylor as well.

Taylor should have plenty of money. His chin is gone and so is his stamina.

Taylor is so shot, I'm not even sure he could beat Pawel Wolak at this point.

I thought that look on his face was haunting when he got knocked down. I wonder if he was out temporarily and thought he was knocked out?

The way he was holding on those last two rounds against a bum you know he was totally disconected. People say he is not brain damaged, but then why is he so shot? Did he foget how to box?

Taylor is starting to sound as delusional as James Toney.

I do not think he is brain damaged at this point but he is showing the obvious affects a hard career in boxing can take, he has fought some big punchers and has been stopped a few times but i also dont think he has taken any seriously bad beatdowns. His chin that was average to begin with will obviously get worse over time after some of the guys he has fought. Its clear that after the long period of inactivity coupled with the hard career he has had previously has left his body about 60 - 70% of what it once was. Once a fighter has had that long out, at the age of 33 and going back down in weight it was always going to be an uphill task to reproduce the form that made him a hot property 5-6 years ago. Good luck Jermain i hope he can find the peace of mind in the near future that will allow him to retire content with what i believe was a very successful career.:good
