I couldn't find a thread on this. So who was it? I don't mean the biggest puncher or the most skilled. I mean which fighter fought with the most ferocious intensity for every second of every round and did not let up until the final bell rang or the final punches were delivered. I have a few names in mind but I was interested in what you guys could come up with (especially the old school fighters that I'm a bit ignorant about) Might add a poll if this thread gets enough interest :good
Stanley Ketchel Jack Dempsey Rocky Marciano Joe Frazier Nigel Benn Henry Armstrong Carmen Basilio Aaron Pryor Juan Roldan (if anyone remembers him, insanely aggressive) Beau Jack Those are picks just off the top of my head.
Fraizer Duran Hagler Marciano Pryor Early Benn ...and Holyfield could be pretty relentless too. I suppose Hatton too at his best.
Jack dempsey is my pick but another shout that hasnt been mentioned is valero. Look at his face when he throws punches. Dude is scary lol.
Henry Armstrong. Roberto Duran. Relentless for me has always had connotations of pressure fighting or swarming.
