Easy fight for DeGale really. Fighting a midget walk forward 40 year old, pretty soft stuff really. Still, did the job well.

Good performance by DeGale MBE, the Italian never seemed hurt but kept falling over :conf

Well that's that. Sanavia's past it but DeGale didn't really do much wrong.

Suprised Degale had any energy left after the Grand National.

Typical Dundonian. Dreadful stoppage in every single way. No excuse for it. Too many referees just stopping a fight the moment someone gets hurt. This needs to be stopped.

On another note, good finish from DeGale. Still a little too easy to hit for my tastes and for his particular style, but excellent punch selection to close it out.

Even if he does have an idea, if he's 2-3 seconds out then there could be a tragedy. It wasn't the case in Crolla-Matthews but the point stands that the ref calls the fight second by second, not with one eye on the clock.

The referee, whether you like it or not, takes no account of the time left in a round

There are too many fighters coming out of that gym who just get the ear muffs on and march forward come what may. I thought Crolla could be different because I'ved really enjoyed his recent performances but if he's going to adopt that style then he can forget about going beyond British level IMO. It is a **** style which only suits limited brawlers, Crolla should be better than that.

Random finish in the Degale fight Sanavia never looked hurt once but kept going down. At least it means I don't have to listen to Alexander anymore.
