It looked like his opponent took a dive or was just looking for a way out, either that or he's narcoleptic. :huh

...or it was the accumulated crisp power punches of Mijares?

The low career KO% doesn't mean it isn't hurtful or conducive to neurological scrambling when he hits you cleanly.

Mijares has never been a 1-punch knockout artist, but he's also never been feather-fisted...and he looks stronger than ever at SBW.

I though Vic took mijares's soul. Glad to see him bounce back.

What is Mijares saying in the interview?

Ah, they just showed him. So he's the one who sounded like he has a bad smoker's rasp all night.

They're hyping up Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez vs. Ramon "El Principe" Hirales, the next big event on Box Azteca.

    :bbb

For diehard boxing fans, that one needs no hyping!

Did he get his belt tonight? I hear there has been such a run on them lately that they may be on back order.

    Damn it.

Well... it was a nice career, Mijares.

(it's ****ing over, unless he pulls a Narvaez...)
