MoronoCunty...dumb...nah. He wouldnt make dumb statements like PED's are expected and allowed in the UFC, especially considering Fedor was PRIDE HW Champion and has fought 3 or 4 UFC guys since PRIDE folded...atsch
The UFC dont have to leave it to the commissions. They could go to an organisation like VADA and ask them to do the testing and they would gladly run a comprehensive tetsing programme for every fighter under UFC contract but the UFC will never do that as that would hurt business!! I mean if the UFC was anti drugs like they say they would of announced weeks ago that overeem was out of the main event but they didnt as they are hoping somehow he managed to get a licence so the fight still goes ahead. Its disgusting and for dana white to claim they have the gold standard of testing is just laughable.
I would preach but honestly that would be a tad hypocritical. We all know most MMA athletes do this, we all pay for the PPV's yet pretend to ourselves only those caught are guilty. By agreeing with this we're pretty much admitting most of the UFC do this kind of thing.....yet people vehemently deny that to anyone that makes that accusation without proof. That double standard is no different to accusing Dana White of having a double standard because to accuse Dana White of a double standard is to accuse the organization of not rooting out all the drug testers ergo we must assume a large number of MMA fighters juice even if not caught........ Which is what I said previously and got verbally raped for.
No. I don't do any such thing. As far as im concerned hormones has no place whatsoever in this sport.
When are you knuckleheads going to understand TRT only increases your test levels to an average healthy man's levels. LOL If anything, it's unfair to those suffering from low test to have to fight a guy with normal levels. Their recovery and progress is a lot more stunted. Hendo and Randy are older so of course they're goin to be smart and ensure their levels are at the optimal level, that of a healthy human man! Holy fuk, it's not cheating, it's leveling the playing field out. It's only cheating if they're abusing it and increasing their levels well beyond the average amount. Also, TRT is becoming more and more popular as men are being educated on the importance of healthy testosterone levels. You will be seeing more and more fighters taking this route and there is absolutely nothing the UFC will be able to do about it if it's administered from a doctor for health reasons.
The average male has a ratio of 1:1. Id bet a small fortune neither Hendo or Coutures ratio is that low. Surely you don't believe this nonsense you just wrote? Or are you completely oblivious to all the 'ancillary' benefits that come with TRT therapy? TRT enables a fighter to extend his career far far longer if all things WERE equal. Both Randy and Hendo still performed at a very high level despite advanced age in this sport which is unheard of. The fact its administered by a doctor is academic. The reality is it IS cheating. Any form of artificial stimuli or hormone supplement in sport IS cheating period. TRT is generally prescribed for aging patients or young children that suffer from serious conditions. These athletes broadly speaking are the epitome of health! So why is a young guy like Duffee abusing TRT? The reality is TRT is far too easy to abuse. And because of this it MUST be banned and has no place in the sport. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected Overeem clearly needed that TRT right?
If they were being TRT'd back to 1:1 then there would be no issue. No one would talk about it, there'd be no need as they would not **** hot. No one would even know they were doing it. Fact is TRT is being used to excuse high testosterone results and exposed as a loop hole. A guy in his early 30's with low natural test levels is in that situation as he abused gear in the past. His bollocks have shut up shop re test production as they detected ridiculously high levels and were not needed. A guy should fight with what he has. Should a guy with a short arms be allowed to hold poles to extend his reach so it matches his opponent? Allowing TRT in sport is one big big grey area and should just be outlawed altogether.
You can't CHEAT if it's truly TRT. Obviously overeem is going beyond TRT and cheating. But how in the world is it cheating when you're only injecting testosterone to increase your levels to THAT OF AN AVERAGE HEALTH MALE! Do you understand when on these programs you're monitored by your doctor, performing blood tests 2-3 times a year? TO ensure your levels aren't too high or too low? Holy fuk. If anything it's unfair for a man who unfortunately has low test levels and has to train/compete against someone who has healthy levels. When on TRT you can't abuse it since you're only given enough to get you throw a prescription and then you have to visit your doctor again, get your blood tested, and he writes another one. If you abuse it, you're kicked out of the program but it would be dumb to abuse it seeing as you will blow throw your script and be left with nothing to keep your levels elevated. Unless you get it off the street but like I said, once you measure too high, your doctor isn't going to keep you on the program. Testosterone isn't just for kids or seniors. No man should have to live with low test levels and poor quality living that low test will bring such as Excessive fatigue Reduced interest in sex Emotional, psychological and behavioural changes Decreased muscle mass Loss of muscle strength Increased body fat Weak bones/back pain or osteoporosis Generalized aches and pains Forgetfulness Cardiovascular risks (See Below) Sleep disturbances This was pulled directly from a TRT clinic, canada's leading testosterone expert doctors. But yea, it's cheating, right?
Dude this is a clueless and incredibly naive post. The reality is there isn't even a test that can objectively prove if your levels are truly low as they vary greatly from one person to the next. Either way this would be under the assumption that you were suffering from a critical condition that required this treatment. Because HEALTHY athletes fall into that category right? 5 times as many athletes in MMA are abusing TRT than 10 years ago. It's not coincidental. TRT replacement has been talked about and criticised extensively by doctors involved in MMA. Dr Benjamin over at MMA Junkie has written about it many times. His conclusion is the same as many fans who can see the obvious abuse that TRT is currently under. http://mmajunkie.com/news/24201/med...replacement-therapy-is-too-ripe-for-abuse.mma The specter of performance-enhancing drugs is very high in elite-level sports. The desire to win and be rewarded especially financially has further fueled the "win at all costs" and "if you're not cheating you're not trying hard enough" mentalities. Testosterone-replacement therapy (TRT) primarily is intended to treat fairly uncommon conditions of teenage boys who were not maturing properly because of genetic abnormalities, chronic illness, pituitary-gland dysfunction, testicular trauma, etc. The legitimate use of TRT, as it pertains to elite-level athletes, is a relatively new phenomenon and potentially a very slippery slope and ripe for abuse. The normal range of testosterone is quite broad (250 to 800 ng/deciliter), and it varies by time of day and age of the subject. Testosterone levels normally decline with age. Diagnosis is not simply related to results of the blood test. Multiple vague subjective symptoms (as told to the doctor by the patient but cannot be objectively proven) are also taken into account when making the diagnosis. Many men in their mid-40s and early-50s, rightly or wrongly, are diagnosed and treated for low testosterone (low T) because they want that old "fire" back. Big pharma has spent a fortune on marketing to convince this demographic of men that they are suffering from "male menopause" and can live a much happier and more vigorous lifestyle by purchasing and taking their drugs. Rrrr! This normal age-related decline has nothing to do with young, amazingly fit, male elite athletes other than creating the mindset that everything is a disease that must be treated with a drug. The world and U.S. anti-doping (WADA and USADA) guidelines are very clear and strict when it comes to proper diagnosis, qualification of physicians (endocrinologists), testing intervals, and approved drugs and treatment regimens for the safe and acceptable administration of TRT in elite athletes. Why is the process so strict? Because high-dose testosterone administration producing levels significantly higher than the normal range may potentially provide performance enhancement. Furthermore, if the athlete gets caught, he simply says, "Not my fault. My doctor made a mistake." It is not unheard of or particularly uncommon for an athlete with a somewhat low or borderline testosterone level to seek out and befriend an endocrinologist (or local doctor because they are far more abundant and often easier to influence), recite a litany of symptoms that cannot be disproved, and thus be deemed appropriate for TRT. For these reasons (and many others that I will not bore you with), I believe that TRT should not be allowed in elite-level competition. It is too easy to cheat and very difficult and time consuming to monitor the proper treatment process. The bottom line is that TRT was developed and intended for the medically necessary treatment of a small subset of young boys who need this hormone to develop normally and have a shot at a more normal life and not, amazingly, healthy young men who want a shot at the title. Like it or not, everyone is not fit to be an elite-level athlete despite big pharma marketing to us otherwise and attempting to sell us better living through chemistry. Did I just say that? What am I doing? No more free golf trips for me!
That's an amazingly biased and flawed argument. Anyone, any age for any reason, can have low test levels. It's not just young or old people as doctors/experts are made aware. An elite aging athlete has no control over their test levels and they, just as easily as any normal man can decrease. TRT is more and more being used to treat men, not just kids anymore. The importance of testosterone is being more and more recognized. How ridiculous is it to assume because someone is in the UFC and deemed an elite athlete, that they can't suffer from low test levels? OMG. These are fukin human beings, not some demi god. And TRT is being used to increase the quality of life in the men that suffer from lower levels. So what if it was originally created for boys? Were an evolving world and doctors are being more educated on the short falls for low test levels and how healthy levels are PIVOTAL for a quality life. I know for a fact because I had next to know testosterone in my system and now receive treatment and I feel 10x better, happier and back to the shape I was in during my 20s. If someone is abusing TRT that's another story, but nobody can do fuk all about someone receiving the proper therapy. It's proven, approved treatment by the government and clearly a healthy tool for aiding men in need.

Riiiight... So Dr Benjamiin writes a stellar article from a Physicians point of view but you think your naive and very myopic point of view has far more credibility when even Ray Charles could see TRT is being heavily abused? And flawed? The FACTS speak for themself. At no other time in this sport has TRT been more abused. So where's the bias or flaw when the evidence is as plain as day? And learn to read. I never said it was just for the young and old and neither did Dr Benjamin. Generally within medicine those are the people that are being treated for hormone related problems. NOT YOUNG HEALTHY ATHLETES IN THE PRIME OF THEIR LIFE!!!!
