"Selecting another shop worn fighter" is not an element of prediction. Froch himself says he is still at the top of his game, watch his most recent interview on Sky. I'd be curious to find out what exactly makes you think he's shopworn i.e. did he slow down in the Ward fight in comparison with his battles with Taylor & Dirrell, what things was he not able to do...? Does he get the shopworn tag by default coming out of the S6? Or does one become shopworn as soon as they lose to Ward?

So, Bute beats Froch on points but gets destroyed by Stevenson? How about your thoughts on Froch-Stevenson?!

As for why they hate Bute...same reason they hate the amazing K brothers. Three guesses.

 

facts:
1. if it'll be a close competitive fight, Bute will lose on cards because the fight is in England
2. if Froch is a shop worn fighter but on this site is ranked 2nd best SMW that would mean the SMW division is a very weak one; from this site's point of view.

But after reading that , and we ALL KNOW that Buté made an offer to Ward before, so for the word « Selecting» and « worn», because now Froch fights Buté, he is like «eighty old Glen Johnson», it sounds a little bizzare from a presenter. I don't know if she can repeat that in front of Carl Froch :« Allo Carl, I wrote on ESB that you are a shop worn fighter»

But she is an american presenter, rooting for her american champ.

Boxing girl is right in 80% of her predictions. It's only when Bute fights she is wrong.

 

Bute should definitely get some respect for going to Frochs backyard. This shows that Bute wants the big fights.
But lets not get carried away... Bute has fought handpicked opponents at home his entire career so far... I hope we will see Bute fight more top opponents in the future.
BTW... Bute will beat Froch on points in a tough fight (if no stamina problems).

 

If they are truly pick em fights why is everyone and their brother over 75% correct? Come on Jenna. Be real. If you could go 21-3 in even money fights you would either be extremely rich or extremely stupid for not being extremely rich and taking advantage of your unprecedented talents. You know as well as I do what is going on here. Most of these so called "Pick Em" fights aren't pick em fights in the reality of the betting world. Many "Mega Fights" aren't true Pick Em fights. Most actually are far from it.

A true test of skill would be everyone starts with 100 units and uses the same betting board odds. For example, is Hopkins vs Dawson 2 one of your pick em fights? Well in reality Chad is -450 at The Greek. How about Alvarez vs Mosley is this another mega pick em fight? Saul Alvarez is -900. Is Cotto vs Mayweather a "pick em" fight? In real the world Floyd is -700. Khan vs Peterson 2, Khan is -500.

There are very few real pick em fights in today's world of boxing. Now here is my point: You could simply go with Dawson / Alvarez / Mayweather /Khan all huge favorites and one underdog wins and I am supposed to call you a genius for being at 75%!?? :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Get the $%#$ outta here :hi:.

Because really if you bet the same amount on all of those fights and chose the favorites each one and 3 of 4 (75%) won and one lost, you would come out a LOSER.

Plus, guys on that list will go for underdogs just for fun and if they are right, they dont get anything extra for it.

To test yourself and see how good you are you have to win vs the odds. And then figure out how heavy you want to go on a particular fight, i.e. how much You believe in your prediction.

It would be way more interesting and fun if you did it this way and then we could see who is truly any good at this.

V cash where people are wagering five hundred billion, I have seen posts "who wants to bet five million v cash?" Please. I haven't seriously looked at it but thats why. There must be something seriously wrong with it. You can multi account and create your own odds and bet yourself and run up your meaningless V cash. Maybe they could do something where you need 1500 posts before you get any money but honestly that wouldn't stop many. But yes,fundamentally, yes, picking winners vs the odds. But those odds are effected by the microcosm of the V cash bettors.

Predicting the sun will come up tomorrow doesn't really mean anything.

I am not saying I am better or worse than Jenna or anyone else here. I'm just saying that that Mega list doesn't prove squat.

Start with a 1000 units. Each week list the odds, link where they are, list your bet. If you can turn that 1000 units into 1500 or 2000 or 5000 or 10,000 over twenty five or fifty bets you are a rock star bettor or very very lucky.

I have done this for years on multiple forums and I have had years were I did pretty good and years where I got killed. Of course, I was actually doing what I said I was doing.

In November 1998, Stevenson was arrested because he was part of a gang which forced young girls into prostitution. He also was found guilty of beating the girls. He was sentenced to 18 months in prison. The victims were aged from 17 to 25 at the time Stevenson forced them into prostitution

 

Andre Ward in Oakland was his first pick. That the shop worn fighter ? Then you'd be ok with him selecting a brain damaged fighter?... or you'd be ok with him selecting a limited skilled MW who now fights at SMW, or you'd be ok with him selecting an up and coming fighter ? I thought you agree with Ward that he needs an A lvl fighter. Froch was the best one that fit that description. Kessler was fighting Stieglitz before he injured himself. What other A lvl fight could exist at 168 besides Ward, Bute, Kessler, Froch ?
