I find it VERY hard to believe he walks around at 225-230. Iv never seen him look physically close to anything like 225+. He's a skinny dude. You can see it from his bone structure alone. That's not to say he can't carry additional weight as he will fill out as he gets older. But he doesn't have the frame of a man that will carry a large heavyweight build.

Jones isn't Sakuraba. At heavyweight he'd get humiliated. His physical advantages are far less up there. Dana will ensure he stays at 205 for some time and he gets his moneys worth.
Come on Scurla. You cannot say that. It's not just physical advantages that he has, as in, size he has awesome itelligence. I pick Jones over any current HW. as I think he can identify where his advantage is and fight that fight. It's not 100% certain by any means but 'humilited'? come on....
Jones is definitely a prototype at 205. As a guy with his length, frame and unorthodoxy has never been seen before. But those advantages dwindle greatly at heavyweight. Unless he spends every fight beating up Mir or Brendan Snob i'm not seeing it. How does he react once chin checked? There's questions that haven't been answered yet and i'm not willing to jump on this band wagon until i see Jones in with a stern test. I don't think Dana is either hence why he won't let him go to heavyweight for at least 2-3 more years.
Cain, JDS, Overeem, Barnett, Cormier, Carwin, Werdum, Silva take your pick. Matter of fact id probably even choose Kharitonov over Jones. There's much for Jones to prove and those answers aren't going to come at 205 as he's effectively a tweener because of his unusual size and length at the weight. Against any one of those fighters iv mentioned just one chin check and it would be good night.
