Would you consider Tomasz Adamek a HOFer if ...

    hell no...needs to beat a Klitschko and get some title defenses...or drop down and dominate cruisereight for 4-5 years...then I would consider him being a hof.

    Thinking of just British fighters I'd say John Conteh, Prince Nazeem, Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank for a start, all of who retired a long time ago now.

    2 world titles in this day and age of boxing when there is up to 8 belts per division by the wbo, wba, wbc, ibf doesnt mean much...

    He's beaten no A level fighters and he's faced two great fighters in his career - and got the **** kicked out of him in both fights.

    No shame in that. He beat the man at Cruiserweight in Steve Cunningham.

    Has he really achieved a huge lot more than say guys like David Haye or a guy like Kessler? I very much doubt either of those will get in.

    Well there's clearly no rush if any of them are to be and fighters who have retired after them have been getting balloted recently.

    David Haye has a shot at getting in for his cruiserweight run and his win over Valuev.

    Adamek was an ok LHW of an incredibly weak bunch. The first good LHW beat him very clearly despite being young and untested at the time (Dawson). Adamek should just be happy that Hopkins, Pascal etc were not there at the time.

    Then he did well in an even weaker CW division.

    Finally, he has beaten a couple of out-of-shape HWs and the highlight was getting an absolute beating by the champ. His HW idea was always doomed. At his best weight LHW he was a strong guy and would have been around no. 4-6 in a decent division like today.

    i'm an Adamek fan, and I say that even if he beat Povietkin, he'd still have to beat Wlad to be a true HW champ, not win that ****ing toilet-paper belt Povietkin's got

    he'd be a HOF if he could pull one off against a Klitschko, making him a champ at LHW, CW and HW
