Sure there can - especially when one is being put on by your rival promotional company whom you are currently engaged in an ongoing cold war with.

And hte guy in my avatar has something to say about Chavez/Martinez. . .

Nah. . . I definitely see Golden Boy feeding Kirkland to Alvarez. . . They tried to feed him to Angulo, but Kirkland had different plans. . .

Time is right. . . Would be perfect to build up a fight with Floyd. . .

Supposedly, Alvarez was guaranteed a shot against Floyd for headlining his undercard - he wanted to have his own card, but he was promised a shot for doing it again.

Molina? Be serious, why would you want to see him spoil a an Alvarez fight?

Molina is a good fighter, but his style is HORRIBLE to watch. I don't wanna see that ****er fight anybody.

You'll NEVER see Alvarez fight Molina. Carlos at the very LEAST would make Canelo look bad. He might even outbox him. And Molina has no name, and a horrid style, so its not gonna happen.

Kirkland-Alvarez is a guaranteed war. Both can punch, both can be hurt, and neither one can spell defense. Ginger figures to win though because he has by far the better technique, and is a bigger puncher. And his defense isn't good, but it isn't AS bad as Kirkland's.

Kirkland has the worst defense in the sport bar none. He makes Paul Williams look like Pernell Whitaker.

I think Molina showed us what to do

Unless Kirkland catches Alvarez i dont see Kirkland winning

I think Alvarez is just too quick

Another possibility I think, is that GB will make Alvarez vs Ortiz, IF Ortiz beats Berto in the rematch. Which I don't think will happen. I think Berto stops Ortiz this time around.

i just want Alvarez to earn it.. he's going to be a huge superstar one day and i just don't want him to be a paper view seller.. but an actual champ

although molina can be boring and holds a bunch, he usually fights pretty good late.. would be a good test for canelo

    For Canelo? Yeah.

Ortiz vs Alvarez would be a HUUGGEEE fight in LA.

If Ortiz beats Berto again, I wouldn't mind seeing it. I can't stand Ortiz or Ginger, so whichever one got their ass whupped, I'd be happy either way.

I don't believe the rumor. Too much risk too little reward for Alvarez. Why not target someone who has less power and less tenaciousness. I think they will wait for the fight before getting serious. Props to both fighters if it happens though.
