THere are some truly ******ed posts in this thread. How you can argue that a man who is a repeated abuser is not a piece of ****? I'd give him a pass if it was one crazy *****, but he's been arrested 6 times for domestic "instances". All time great fighter, and pretty big piece of ****. As far as boxers go, he's definitely not the biggest piece of ****.

At the same time it was more prevalent then, as was racism, which made it seem more understandable (Just like Ali's racism in hindsight is more understandable or excusable than Floyd's is). Not to say it should be more justifiable, just more explainable. At the same time, Ali never was tried for physical abuse on a women so we don't really know the extent of such "hitting." I've heard stories of him seeing a girl he was going out showing too much skin and that he went in a room or bathroom with her and smacked her around. That's the worst I've heard, though.
