well that pretty much kills the fight forever then. yay. what a great time to be a boxing fan.

its such a sad sad state for boxing. HBO should just pay these guys stupid money to make it happen. This fight should have been a trilogy by now. we have two once in a lifetime talents in the same division and they wont fight- it could be a golden age in boxing - how larry bird and magic revived the nba thru their rivalry- instead its killing the sport. These guys are going to be rich and famous regardless, but we as fans- are the only ones missing out. missing out on seeing boxing at its highest possible level. **** this. I got into the sport because of mayweather and pacquiao. i ve been following them both for the past 10 years. and because of them- i m getting over it. i just hope a new transendent talent emerges to keep the sport going.

This kind of thing makes me question whether fight will ever happen now. I cant see Arum and Pacquiao bending to this, and Floyd definitely wont. His ego is too big to climb down.

with the ppv money, he'd be set to make wayyyy more than 40 million (i've read the upwards of 100 million if everything went perfect )

way more than the percentage of people who are buying the fight because of floyd mayweather rather than pacman

Who cares, they should've fought no later than 12 months ago. They're both on the slide now so personally I'm not interested anymore.
