Hagler had shown up as a give-and-take brawler in his two fights leading up to it (Hearns and Mugabi), a stark contrast to his really being a counterpuncher at heart, able to box off the backfoot, methodically carve up opponents over the course of a fight and usually stop them. No doubt blue trunks Hagler was slowing down. You'd of thought he'd put the same rage on SRL.. Then he comes out and tries to outbox him! For the first four rounds, losing all of them. atsch

 

Agreed, Pacquiao (Arum) now have a legitimate reason for refusing the fight.

As much as I like Mayweather, this is ****ed up.

'Capping' an outside promoted fighter's purse and demanding that no PPV profit split is allowed is beyond unreasonable.

Not that it will make any difference but I'm having second thoughts about buying the Cotto PPV.
