I believe him as he shows no other signs of steroid use.

The key thing is that he withdrew his application for a licence. That means there's still a chance he fights before the year is out. No licence application, means Nevada cannot punish him in anyway.

"Prior to the UFC 146 press conference in March, I aggravated an old rib injury on my left side. My doctor prescribed, and I accepted, an anti-inflammatory medication that was mixed with testosterone. I was completely unaware that testosterone was one of the ingredients in the medication. Although I was unaware, I do realize it is my job to know what I am putting into my body."
I'm so bored of this excuse.

You know what I wish one of these fighters/athletes would just an up and accept they did wrong and take the punishment instead of coming out with the BS excuses.

It really is laughable hearing top level fighers claim they never knew what they were putting into there body.

Id like an anti-inflammatory mixed with testosterone. He must have been taking anti-inflammatorys for at least 5 years. This **** is insulting to anyone's intelligence.

Alistair can't do it, just like Chael because they know they are left with zero credibility and their entire legacy is a sham.

James Toney use the "it was my medicine" shite.

Scur, you are a professional athlete, which I'm sure your Doc would know about but nevertheless he prescribes you medicine that will co-incide with an up coming fight. Do you not ask the doc what is in it because a) you are on a temporary license and b) you get drug tested anyway.

It makes you wonder how poor his drug testing must've been previously or maybe he took a huge risk in going so over the limit to try and cheat his way through the biggest fight of his life.

Yep, that combination is just outright bizarre. Excuse me for the Mike W'ism but its like having tapatio instead of chocolate syrup on your ice cream sunday.

Pro athlete? I just work out b :D

And yeah i take whatever my doctor gives me and question nothing...... I don't know why these guys plead the 5th and this is seen as some acceptable excuse. Just admit it and be done with it. Nothing changes. The fines a joke. You serve our suspension, fight overseas and in a year its all forgotten.
