This prediction is most telling as it's what the people who are picking Dawson seem to say (something similar anyway)

    Lyle Fitzsimmons- Pensacola News Journal

“Pavlik KO 9--Hopkins has thrived for years against guys he could trick into playing cagey games in the ring. Pavlik is too rough and tumble to go for that sort of sublime bait, and too strong for Bernard to evade all night. I think the end of a legend.”

At the time Hopkins fought him Pavlik was seen as the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ a man who could box hard for a full 12 rounds and had legit KO power something that would just be too much for Hopkins especially considering how past it he looked against Calzaghe.

But we'll disect the finer points of the fight come saturday/sunday.

I sadly acknowledge that Bernard doesn't respect the young promissing and in my opinion future of the LHWT Division. He won't do a face off with him, he won't speak to him, he's pissed with the press. In my own belief, he's just waiting for everyone to listen to themselves, all in good mood and plenty of confidence like Kelly Pavlik b4 their meeting for the scales and out of nothing, B'Nard clashes heads with Dawson and turns from night to day one sure thing into another sure thing, that is from a conventional boxing advantage from his opponent into a real hard atmosphere to be in.

I think Hopkins takes the circus act to the next level to unsettle Dawson.

Nope, this is'nt a case of Hopkins playing mind games.
Nobody really cares of these two fight. For the reason that this fight needs to be built up and hyped is why there should be a faceoff to it.

Lets get real here. Hopkins already emptied his ammo on Dawson in the build up to the first fight and Hopkins knows full well the results.
Dawson won that battle by a landslide and there is'nt much, especially after quitting that Hopkins can do about it.

Another thing why Hopkins does'nt want any part of a faceoff or even news conferences is that he's is constantly going to be reminded about his quit job.
Dont think Dawson was'nt going to be asking for Hopkins to turn over medical proof of his alleged injury we all know was faked.

Rather than go through that whole ordeal Hopkins is in hiding not wanting to face the music.

He'll work up the courage to face Dawson once again in the ring.

Hopkins will try whatever tricks he has up his sleeve and when they dont have any effect and Hopkins knows the beatdown is commencing, you all watch what Hopkins will do, but I guarantee you he is'nt going to stand up to Dawson and fight!!!!:deal
