With his ridiculous reach advantage and sharp reflexes he could be glass jawed like Wlad and still get away with it, but it does seem his chin is sturdy

The way he reacts when hit makes me think he doesn't like being hit.....

not many non Samoans do ;)

chances are high that he's not been hit full force on the face very often. he seemed more in shock than hurt when lyoto and rashad clocked him

Thats why i thought it was an odd reaction. If you spar alot you get used to getting hit. He seems like a fighter who is used to having his way. Which makes me query his toughness...

I need to see someone really go for Jon Jones. Rampage tried but he is so one dimensional and so poor in that dimension that it hurts. Shogun gassed. Jones set the pace against Machida. Evans completely melted.

I want someone with the Sonnen attitude who hates him and wants to make him fight.

Prime Fedor goes after God if he stands in front of him!

Will be interesting to see of Hendo, a notoriously strong man in the clinch, can overcome Jones' size.

If anyone can clock Jones with one punch and put him out it's Hendo. Still, with Jones' reach, youth, speed, diversity and own strength and Greco ability against the older man's lack of gas tank (admittedly better at 205 and despite being ****ed against Shogun with the pace he set early I can give him a pass) picking Hendo on the chance he might land a bomb at some point is too far-fetched for me to go with it.

I think he reacts well enough, considering the size of the gloves in genuine competition compared to sparring, that I'm not worried about his ability to take a shot. In the second round henwas beating Machida to the punch, took a head kick (not clean but clipped hard) and some half-decent flurries and at least one sharp right from Rashad reminiscent of the shot he sparked Chuck with (not that clean again, not compared to that K.O anyway :yep) which was right out of the gate in either the 3rd of 4th rounds....I'm rambling, anyway, Jones will only get better with experience in that department, not worried at all.

He's a ****ing specimen. I wouldn't be surprised if he's naturally tough either.

I agree though. It's a small chance, but if Jones isn't quite ready for the dynamite Henderson has in his fists and doesn't know how to react when he feels force he will have never felt before?

Then I guess we'll find out for sure :hey

Henderson may land a right hand on John Jones, I'm not an MMA fan but I saw that Evans had chances to throw and land it but didn't pull the trigger. Henderson has a punchers chance.

A prime Fedor? It'd be intresting to see how the mystique of him would effect Jones; he's only 23(?) after all. I'd favour Fedor to find a way to win; he really was something. Like I said, not a huge MMA fan but he caught my attention along with a few others.

I accidentally clicked Jones but it's Fedor.

Jones will lose in the first fight he walks backwards. He would make Jones walk backwards.

Sure some people show signs that they are gear but you should not assume he is or is not strictly on his looks. Drug cheats come in all shapes and sizes.

Jones needs a new trainer before he becomes another boring Jackson fighter.

Someone should teach this kid how to box and to at least jab.

Agree. Greg Jackson ruins fighters and ruins the sport. Last thing we need to see is a monster like Jones being turned into a Wlad like *****

Its starting, I would get out now. Noticed how many times he had Rashad in trouble and never followed up "hey hes already winning" why take the chance. The last round, Rashad was done and a flying knee and a burst away from being layed out but no, dont take the risk, you're winning.

Two more fights and people would be booing Jones.
