I want to say Roger because he seemed more "elite" in his career, but maybe the size and smarts of Floyd sr (who is a much bigger guy than Roger and his son naturally) might carry the day. In a lb 4 lb sense Roger is better especially offensively, but the size might carry the day, and Floyd Sr had a WAY more complete defense. Good match up, actually.

Roger IMO...he had more skills and more pop to his punch. I think he would take a UD 7-4-1 even in this fight.

Sr did not hit that hard. He wasn't as skilled as Roger.

I should have added that Sr. was a lot bigger so it might be closer than what I said.

Roger was a damn good fighter, champion level just short of the very elite of the sport.

Sr was an underated fighter with a lotta skill but he didn't hit hard enough to put Roger out.

    Roger by KO

Uncle Roger did pretty good vs boxers and technicians, but brawlers like Chavez Sr and sparring sessions with a smaller Fenech show he didn't do as well. I think Sr that fought SRL outboxes and outfoxes the Black Mamba, but Rogers power evens things abit. Had a good jab and his right hand was well known, but in a close fight the faster, craftier, bigger, and stronger big bro edges Roger in a SD by a hair at 147. Below that its Roger where his power more of a factor.

Floyd senior would outbox him there's a significant size disparity. Floyd Sr was slick and had some real decent handspeed.
