3 main reasons why someone can puke:

    1) nerves- people often puke before or during their wedding and im sure climbing in a ring before thousands of people is more nerve racking

    2)fatigue- self explanatory

    3) being hit hard in the stomach

all these things happen during a fight but no one has gotten nauseous

    ODD

I remember Walid Smichet did between 2 rounds in his fight with Peter Manfredo Jr. I think it was between rounds 3 and 4 if I remember correctly.

It was during the fight, when Robbie was in his corner. I want to say he had received a body shot.

Peden had been getting a beating and was swallowing alot of blood as I remember. Being outworked and made to swallow blood. He was totally done and just vomited in the corner between rounds.

I remember feeling bad for Peden before this happened.

It's unusual because most fighters know not to eat anything, a few hours prior to a fight. This is mostly so no oxygen is deverted to your stomach, but also so you don't get sick.

It's also one reason they don't typically swallow their water in-between rounds, though that's primarily to avoid cramps.

Most professional boxers know how to properly prepare for a fight. . .

    What cableaddict said.

Yeah, he had been taking a lot of those shots really well, and all of a sudden after a left to the body at the end of the round, he just walks back to his corner and barfs. Looked all orange in the bucket too.

Like some mentioned before, fighters know how to prepare for a fight and minimize the chances of vomiting. In terms of nerves, we usually see expirienced people who feel comfortable in the ring, I don't think they'll get nervous enough to make them nauseous.
