Floyd's last fight reportedly grossed $78.4 million in PPV sales and the fighters reportedly came away with a combined total of around $43 million, which is roughly 55% of the gross PPV. DLH and Mayweather split roughly the same percentage of the PPV gross for their fight (and roughly 47% of the total gross) so I believe it's safe to assume that the fighters should come away with right around 55% of the gross PPV sales or 47% of the total gross (PPV, gate, concessions, etc). Based on that, if this fight brings in DLH-Mayweather type money (the richest in boxing history with $165 million total gross), $40 million should come out to about a 52/48 purse split in favor of Pacquiao, but I believe Floyd was obviously banking on this fight doing better numbers than his fight with DLH, which I'm not so sure will happen at this point or especially much further down the line.

Nah you shut the **** up. It's your opinion that "everyone with a brain knows" but it's not reality.

Floyd will break the purse record with Cotto. Pac is making 7.5 million plus ppv shares for a max of 20 million (probably more like 17.5 million). Floyd will end up with more than 52 million for the Cotto fights. Floyd breaks the purse record with/without Pacquiao. By taking 50/50 Floyd would stay right around what he makes anyways, where as Pac would double his biggest payday with a 40 million dollar offer. Floyd doesn't double his biggest payday.

As far as "knowing," I have posted (and many other posters) their reported splits in the past dummy. Fighting for legacy...Floyd said he don't fight for that, so that isn't involved in negotiations dummy.

Another ****ing idiot *******.:patsch Please do your homework before you post.

I have posted sources on this. Source for 7.5 million is NSAC documents. Source on biggest payday is ESPN article and NY Time article where it specifically said Oscar got the record payday. Yea, nobody pulling **** out of there ass dummy.

Note-Floyd is already a top 50 atg on majority of lists. Your bad there again. Shouldn't speak about **** you know nothing about.

Floyd averages 240,000 more buys per PPV fight, since a common factor in De La Hoya; those are not "similar" numbers.

I don't think Arum will let anyone outpoint Pac. I think if Pac ever fought May, the judges would do their job and not take any bribes. Bradley will have to KO Pac to win...he can't win a decision with Arum in the mix.

He thinks he is the draw in Boxing. And like Tyson and De lahoya if you want to fight you will take what I give you. Because, He has everything to lose and his opponents do not. Also if you knock him off you could become the draw, then you call the shots.

Imagine Floyd telling De lahoya he wanted 50/50 split. :-(

    Prove that, idiot.

Prove it. Do you have source other then Floyd's own mouth?

Ur an idiot if you believe that. He got like a 25 mill guarantee against Marquez. What's written on those NSAC docs are horse****, they aren't factoring in a lot of other things.

"The figures written on a Nevada contract are not necessarily the real number for big PPV guys. They get most of their money off PPV generally. So if Manny's "official" purse is $8 million fine. But he is guaranteed in his contract with Top Rank (which is not something the commission would have or release if it did) something like $20 million or whatever. The money is the money. One of the reasons for the disparity is because Manny is not a US citizen and is often paid a large amount of his money through his Filipino promotional company and deals in the Philippines for things like the television revenue there. So while it looks like a big difference it is not in reality."

    "
So folks can keep on drinking the kool aid. But they dont get how the business actually works when it comes to fighters from overseas. I once covered a world title fight in Vegas with a champion from South Africa in say about 2002. His Nevada contract for a world title fight said his official purse was like $1,000. But he was making more like $50,000 because of the TV money from South Africa. You can do anything with numbers. What is written on the Nevada paper for big time fights isn't worth the paper it is written on,"

Not to mention Pac don't prodcue the revenue that Floyd does.

    1. Mayweather-De La Hoya
    2. Mayweather-Ortiz
    3. Mayweather Mosley

Yea, we don't see Pacquiao's ripped off ass anywhere on that revenue producer do we...

^ That a 25 mill guarantee, not counting PPV upside. Your numbers are way off. Those NSAC documents dont mean anything. Those aren't Pac's real guarantees.

Again, give me some proof of Floyd's earnings other then his mouth. He said was gonna make 60 mill against Mosley. We all know that's bull****.

Aside from Mayweather - Hoya, there numbers have been basically even bro.

How is Floyd gonna offer a flat fee with no PPV $ when Pac is doing numbers like 1.4 , 1.3, 1.2, which is exactly what Floyd does?

You can't just take the Oscar fight out.:patsch Typical *******, trying to pick and choose ****.

Go do your homework in regards to the numbers. Floyd averages 240,000 more ppv buys since a common factor in De La Hoya. Floyd averages more than that in common opponents.

You keep on saying "well w/out De La Hoya...." You can't just kick that fight out cuz you "want to."

And your off on that guarantee too. Arum claims that is just that...the guarantee w/out ppv profits. :deal

Please do not post on **** you know nothing about.:deal
