^ Ok include it then. average out there numbers, and there still basically even. That's all that matters in the end anyway, the PPV numbers, not revenue or who supposedly made more money.

btw, he made those numbers against Oscar 5 years ago. This isnt 2007 . He hasn't come anywhere close to those numbers since then. The only way he's get those kind of numbers again is by fighting Pacquiao.

    De La Hoya-Maywetaher 2,400,000
    De La Hoya Pacquiao 1,200,000

    Hatton-Mayweather 920,000
    Hatton-Pacquiao 850,000

    Marquez-Mayweather 1,005,000
    Marquez-Pacquiao 3 1,450,000

    Mosley-Mayweather 1,450,000
Mosley-Pacquiao 1,150,000(Arum never released official numbers)

    Mayweather 1,443,750
    Pacquiao 1,162,500

There is your common opponents above.

Since the common factor in De La Hoya below.

    MAYWEATHER

    De La Hoya-Maywetaher 2,400,000

    Hatton-Mayweather 920,000

    Marquez-Mayweather 1,005,000

    Mosley-Mayweather 1,450,000

    Ortiz-Mayweather 1,250,000

    7,025,000/5=1,405,000

    PACQUIAO

    De La Hoya Pacquiao 1,200,000

    Hatton-Pacquiao 850,000

    Pacquiao Cotto 1,250,000

    Pacquiao Clottey 750,000

    Pacquiao Margarito 1,150,000

    Mosley-Pacquiao 1,150,000

    Marquez-Pacquiao 3 1,450,000

    7,800,000/7=1,115,000

    So your averages are-

    COMMON OPPONENTS

    Mayweather-AVERAGE 1,443,750
    Pacquiao-AVERAGE 1,162,500

Since fighting a common factor in Oscar De La Hoya

    Mayweather-AVERAGE 1,405,000
    Pacquiao-AVERAGE 1,115,0000

    THAT IS A BIG DIFFERENCE.

    CHECK MATE.

It doesn't matter that it was 5 years ago...NOBODY has ever come close to that other than Lewis-Holyfield 2 I believe. The FACT that it was 5 years ago does not matter. Oscar changed both fighter's careers. Floyd is the bigger draw, makes the bigger purses, and produces more revenue.

If he were to give Pac a 50/50 after this fight with Cotto, he would be taking a paycut from the Cotto fight.:deal

Note-I'm assuming they'd split 100 million. With only 600,000 more buys projected (3 million) over Mayweather-De La Hoya, that's 22 million more than Oscar and Floyd split. That's a very generous estimation IMO. They probably will split more like 90 million.:deal

^ 300,000 buys is a big difference?? :patsch How does that justify Pacquiao taking a suckers share of the purse?

Bottom line is Floyd cant make DLH type numbers again without Pacquiao. Pac is half the equation, so the pot should be split 50/50. Floyd has a case for 55/45 at best. He shouldnt be demanding anything at this point bc the fight had too many roadblocks already.

Anyone who tries to justify this bull**** offer from Floyd just comes off like a stupid nuthugger which u are.

I do think Floyd is going a little over board, by not allowing Pac to have a piece of the revenue from the ppv share, and I'm a Floyd fan. He does do better then Pac with PPV numbers, but Pac also has a large fan base as well. Gurantee because of both guys fighting one another, this would be the biggiest PPV numbers for either fighter. This fight will do better then Mayweather vs De La Hoya because of both fighters not just one. By Floyd taking it all, he's clearly saying that Pac has no influence on the fight numbers whatsoever and that's far from the truth. I backed Floyd for most of his career, but to do this knowing Arum will never allow Pac to agree to such a thing, is a smack in the face to all his fans, the very people who put him where he's at today.

300,000 BUYS IS MORE THAN 25% OF HIS AVERAGE.:deal:rofl

Floyd is breaking the purse record WITHOUT Pacquiao, in his next fight.

Floyd does not need Pacquiao to make more than 40 million in a fight either.

Look at this ******* nuthugger get all mad cuz he doesn't like the numbers. LMFAO.

BTW, I watch all weight classes and all era's of the sport...I don't just watch Floyd, like you only watch Pacquiao and what goes on around him....if I was a nuthugger I wouldn't watch 105 or HW, or the 1940's...I'd just watch Floyd..your fault holler *******.

Once again Arum is screwing Pac big time. It is clear as day too. These *******s want to scream about how Manny is doing all this and that, and his net worth is only 26 million. Damn shame.

Floyd is not breaking any purse records. The only time Floyd's name was included in a PPV record breaker was during the ODLH fight. After that, Floyd's numbers were high but not that comparable to ODLH numbers. Floyd's numbers are slightly higher than Pac but the numbers are not that far off from each other and especially against a NON AMERICAN unknown fighter, Floyd's numbers aren't exactly that great.

Now, a lot of people are saying that Pac won't see huge ppv without floyd. What about Floyd? Floyd will not be able to generate huge numbers against other opponents compare to fighting pac. Both fighters need each other to generate huge amounts.

Any other reason is just some wwe ****. They just want some female type of **** drama. LOL
