Tony Tucker all the way. David Tua was one of the easiest fighters to outbox. Tucker ain't falling prey to a late tua bomb.

Definitely a distance fight this which Tucker wins a MD maybe a UD.

I see TNT frustrating Tua (which wasn't hard to do) and Tony's solid chin would hold up to any of Tua's power shots if he were to land them.

Tucker in his prime would box circles around Tua and win a wide UD.

Finally a Tua thread where he is paired against someone legitimately comprable to him.

I think Tucker should be able to make it out of this fight not only alive but still on his feet. I imagine a close decision (potentially a SD/MD type), and while I won't say Tucker has little chance I don't envision that as the most likely scenerio.

    Tua close decision

Do people forget how mobile Tucker was? Look what less mobile fighters like David Izon, Hasim Rahman, and Oleg Maskaev were able to do against Tua with little movement. Tucker was 6'5 with a good jab and good mobility. Tua's people wouldnt never even match Tua with a fighter like Tucker because of that.

Change that last part to "close but clear decision" for Tucker and I'm with ya 100%

Tucker tko9. Call me crazy I think Tuckers defense/survival
tactics work, and Tucker stuns a tired Tua and stops him
on his feet. Tucker impressed me the first couple of
Rounds against a prime Tyson. I believe that was the
first time Mike got hurt/stunned in a big fight against
Tucker. Tucker broke his hand early in that fight too.
Bottom line if Tucker hung in there with Tyson he
    can survive Tua as well.
