Does anyone know about that interview?
I am not sure if it was "idolise" but he definitely said his favourite fighter was Naseem Hamed. It was probably a few years back, but I remember seeing the interview about 2 years ago. Just wondered if anyone saw that interview or if it's online at all.

I think the interview was before the De la Hoya fight. They asked him which boxer/s he liked, and he mentioned that he liked the way Naz fought. I have been searching on youtube for the interview, but can't find it at all. It is legit though, I remember watching it on t.v.

manm floyd is so arrogant and stuck up his own ass, i was on one of his u streams once watching him training, and he was interacting wiht the fans in the chat and replying to messeges, then some guy logged into the chat under then name prince naseem hamed, and floyd was like " hey wassup prince? how u doin man?!!! lol he actually thought it was prince naseem logged on to watch him train, lolol i was like this guy is either in his own bubble or dumb as ****.

but in regards to the thread i think they were cool, ive seen pictures of them togeather. even now while hamed is fat.

Idolizing Hamed is nowhere near as dangerous as using PEDS and getting away with it.

If anything he probably idolized his showmanship. NOT his boxing skills.

Mayweather is on a completely different planet from Naz when it comes to skills.

Hamed is one of THE most overrated fighters on this forum (that's saying something). He got clowned and embarassed by the only elite fighter he ever fought

He actually wanted to fight Naz. I don't remember him ever saying he idolized him in any interview.

Put the contemporaneous version of PBF (Chico/Famoso era) in there instead of Barrera, and Naz takes an even worse beating. :deal

They were only campaigning four pounds apart. It was feasible.

That isn't how you win fights at the elite level.

Floyd would have dominated Hamed. Maybe stopped him. (Steward throwing in the towel)
