But overall, Floyd's resume is good but not better than other resumes with losses.

at this point Mayweather has the best resume of any undefeated fighter ever...Marciano, Ottke, Calzaghe, etc....

 

That's probably true. That said, people are coming around to the fact that an '0' on your record might not be the end all be all or even a determining factor of ATGness. So while Floyd's run at LW was damn good, his career at WW has been something of a let down.

Im both fans, and critics of Pac, and Floyd. . . I like to clown on Floyd, but everybody knows I speak highly of his in-ring ability (which is really all that counts). . .


While Floyd's resume is often shat on unfairly, I honestly do believe Pac has a better resume (as of now, Floyd can change that over the next 3 years or so). . .

it's just hard to argue against beating Marquez twice, Morales twice (KO's nonetheless), and MAB twice. . You could argue all of those guys are top 100ish fighters of all time. . . I don't buy the whole "oh they weren't 'primed'" argument either. . They were perfectly primed, and there's no reason to discredit the wins. . . Marquez wins were DEAD CLOSE, and I thought 'Quez nicked the third fight, but it was close enough to go either way really.

 

Morales and MAB are nothing without each other, they are disgustingly overrated

I'd say it's more like a USC, NC State, or Michigan State student with 4.0 trash talking an Ivy League student with a 3.5. . . The former schools are very good state schools, but not as difficult to get into, nor as prestigious as the Ivy League schools. . .

 

Now just imagine Floyd's resume if he was as motivated to keep fighting more consistently!
