Sky really should reconsider letting hatton go, got some superb fighters coming through, and hes not worried about putting his prospects in with good fighters to produce good cards.

pretty much a smack in the mouth to a guy who has done so much for british boxing and boxing on sky over the years.

no its not the only reason to keep him, but combine that with the level of fighters he works with then he deserves a TV deal

Murray, Scott Quigg, Ryan Rhodes, Gary Buckland, Ashley Theopane, Matthew Hatton, Crolla, Towers, Denton Vassel among others all deserve sky coverage.

If they think Matchroom will deliver the big fights and show then sure. Perhaps they are sick of Maloneys eastern bums and Hatton making an in house fight rather than the fight the fans want to see.

They are stupid to burn all ties though. Hatton might take them to C5 or BoxNation. Maybe Extreme Sports, Premier Sports or ESPN will get involved.

I see maybe some collaboration between Hatton and Hearn, as Hatton has a good load of boxers.

Would love Channel 5 to get involved. Towers-Fury anyone?

The whole set up stinks. Sky should list fighters they want to show on the new season and then give possible dates and acceptable opponents to whoever his promoter is. Excluding a fighter because of his promoter is just silly.

We'd be waiting for months for fights to get made, by the time a response is compiled by all the promoters.
