WBO got many regional titles, which (Like in the other orgs) gives a ranking if you win them. Hamdan is Asia Pacific Champion. That wouldnt be so bad if it wasnt for the fact that anyone can go win those titles and against everyone if they just pay the fee.

Another thing: Getting a class opponent on short notice isnt just hard (as already said) but of course also risky. Better take a guy where your own class should be enough than someone dfficult. Especially with a tough but money-making mando coming up (Abraham) At least he be almost secured some good cash.

The number 15 ranking is probably bull****. I guess Hamdan has gained it yesterday in a mysterious way. :patsch

Not Stieglitz fault though but this fight has 0 interest for me. Magee-Balsay is an intriguing fight by second tier fighters but Stieglitz fighting an Australian with a so short notice is worth nothing.

Ultimately, it is WBOs fault. They should make better rankings.

Kessler, Groves: there were high expectations after Ornelas, Gevor, Weber and to end up with Nader Hamdan ? :conf . Also those injuries are very very fishy.
