Whilst Foremans combos werent quick, they were never slow in his prime.

I will leave it to you to provide deseprately sarky smilies to back up your losing arguments until you go and watch the videos and learn.

Furthermore, Foreman won the HW title against an ATG, and there is no level higher on the planet than that so if thats not much by your definition , then I dont know what is 'much' to you, and that is a higher level than Klit managed, although to be fair to the big Ukrainian, its not like hes had any ATGs to face anyway.

Perhaps you are referring to Klits string of defences? We are talking about H2H, not career comparisons. Once again, learn before you reply.

What are you talking about? Foremans prime KO record is fearsome against all his opponents, big and small, save ultra-ATG Ali.

2012 Wlad dances circles around slow, lumbering George of ANY year. Wlad from his early days, ie Sanders fight, might get caught and KO'd, as anyone who gets caught by George would (except for Chuvalo), but this Wlad...no way. He cruises to an easy 118-110 type decision. What were the cards for ATG Moore when George KO'd him? This Wlad would NEVER get caught like that. Also, it's quite amusing to see how many people underrate Wlads chin, based on fights almost last century.

  4. you are stupid as fuk

    sorry to be rude

but .. wlad's chin is still as glass as ever

it's just the current division atm cannot expose it

the only thing that got better was his octopus hug

Foreman was waaaaay tooooooo sloooooow to land the kind of clean shot needed to KO Wlad. If Haye, who has exceptional speed cannot land anything meaningful, there's no-way that, the slow as molasses, Foreman would have!

Wlad wouldn't stop Foreman but would probably win every round, AND then would have been criticised for fighting like a coward [by the usual ESB Klitschko haters] against a much smaller man!

Expect the usual comments about Wlad's past losses even though they have no relevance given that he does not fight with the same style now. You'll never see Wlad punch himself out ever again, and when he comes up against super fast power punchers he goes into super defensive mode.

If Corrie Sanders can land them on a quicker Wlad who had better reflexes than Old Wlad so as to knock the **** out of him, then Foreman can land them on a Wlad who is today slowing down, and those blows would KO Wlad much much worse.

Corrie and Big G are the same size really, so its a fair comparison, except that Sanders was a much poorer champ, was much physically weaker, and had far poorer KO ability than George.

Haye is shorter than his listed height of 6'3'', and Foreman was noticeably taller than Ali who is usually listed at 6'3''. Beyond the usual obsession with numbers, Foreman has a significantly bigger frame than Haye, who started out as a LHW in the amateurs and gradually moved up. Foreman in his prime could easily have handled 230 without looking bulky, but his team believed he was sharper around 220 which is why he would work down towards that weight.

If you see Haye in person outside of training camps, he isn't a particularly big guy and doesn't stand out in the crowd. He probably doesn't walk around much different to his fighting weight.

I agree with you that Foreman has a bigger frame (again, though I was only talking about their fighting weights at Heavyweight)...but as for the height, I disagree. I can't find a picture of Haye and Foreman together, but I think the difference is negligible.

No, that's not what I mean.

Wladimir has better training now, he does more sparring, so he's in better ring shape. He has more stamina in the ring now, than he did years ago. This has more to do with training methods than it does peak lung capacity from year to year (as you are suggesting).

And, Wladimir is not 38. He just (on March 25th) turned 36.

So what period do you consider his prime? 06-now? His physical prime lasts longer than that but from 06-now he's had impressive performances against Peter in rematch, Brewster in rematch, Chageuv, Byrd II, Brock, and Haye.

    Peak 06-07 imo.

    Good point.

David Haye is much faster and he actually made Wladimir miss.
