    Can we finally put an end to this "Black Russian" gimmick? The only reason the guy got a Western promoter/contract was because of his Black half. Many of the best fighters over there do not even get a chance to fight professionally because they lack a stupid marketing gimmick that Western promoters can exploit.

    It's the cast[offs like Gratchev that get brought in as opponents that our promoters want.

    Syllakh was supposed to fight Sergei Kovalev who is a better Russian LHW than Grachev but the fight fell apart due to Syllakh's promoter (Roy Jones Company) wanting option on Kovalev. Now we can see why they wouldn't sign the fight without options on the opponent, in case that happened.

    Wow, I didn't see that one coming. I hope he can learn something and come back better. I really saw some good boxing fundamentals from Sillakh. I'm not ready to dismiss him as a hypejob just yet.
