    Byrne is on the receiving end of some big counter hooks as he tries to slam his way inside. Byrne is very tense on the outside, shifting his weight around and trying to load up big right hands either solo or behind the jab. Holmes is just leaning back and sizing Byrne up for big counter hooks and quick right hands thrown from the far side and landing unseen. Nice body shots by Holmes. Byrne is the sometimes aggressor, but isn't getting anything effective done when he dives inside. Blocking a lot of punches with his face, and usually for naught. Big dust-up by the ropes, and Byrne is sat on a rope. Should have been a knockdown.

    Persona non grata in British boxing after converting to radical Islam.
    There are several threads about him in the Brit forum, there are also several Youtube vids of him spewing hate filled bile.

    He was a decent fighter but his really unorthodox style was ****ing painful to watch.

    The BN presenters have it dead level. Not sure how. Terry has swept the last three pretty clearly IMO, countering patiently and landing the better punches in every exchange. Deano is trying but his mojo fell off after the 1st. (which he won on aggression/activity before Holmes got his head in the game).

    Byrne is still jerking around tensely on the outside, anticipating the lead hooks of Holmes. Byrne tries to time his 1-2 when Holmes throws but isn't as effective in countering. Holmes is caught by a right hand, but keeps coming, landing body shots. Byrne is put in a corner and flurried upon. Byrne is pushed across the ring. BIG RIGHT HANDS!!! Byrne is under fire on the ropes, having his head rocked about!!! Big hooking shots by Holmes!! TOWEL IN!! TKO!!! NO!! WTF?!?!?! THE REFEREE REJECTED THE TOWEL!! HE THREW IT BACK AT BYRNE'S CORNER AND SAID "CARRY ON"!!!! OH MY GOD!! BYRNE RUSHES AFTER HOLMES, WHO HAS TURNED HIS BACK TO CELEBRATE!! RABBIT PUNCH!! HOLMES SPINS AROUND!! THEY SLUG IT OUT TOE TO TOE!!!!

    Holmes is forcing his way in on Byrne, throwing big right hands with combinations blossoming off the connected ones. Byrne is sliding back to the corners, getting banged up a bit, then fighting his way out to start all over. Holmes is catching a right hand here and there but shipping the majority of the damaging blows, and is now the full on aggressor.
