Well, first of all, Floyd is not a GBP fighter. He doesn't have a standing contract with GBP after this fight, as far as we know. But what we don't know is if GBP has an option on Cotto's contract should he win, which might actually give GBP the financial incentive of wanting Cotto to win. So, we don't actually know for sure what you say. It is not comparable to the recent superstar "protected decision" which Pacquiao got against Marquez just last year. Pacquiao was a Top Rank fighter who was fighting in a Top Rank event. Mayweather is not a GBP fighter who will be fighting in a GBP event. Your logic very likely could have actually concluded that if anyone is getting robbed, it would be Mayweather... (I don't agree with this statement, but on principle, can't say I agree with your assertions either.)
^ Floyd uses GBP to promote all his fights. So they get a big cut of the revenue. Obviously they wouldnt want to give that up for Cotto, who can't generate what Floyd can.
