who cares? half of these depend on where the fight is taking place anyways, every commision is different. In some places you can be saved by the bell etc

    3. Thomas Hearns.

    4: 1 person.

5: Referee starts count. If the fighter beats it and can continue, both fighters can go to their corner.

    6: 20 seconds.

That don't make sense. If one fighter weighs 147 it's obviously a welterweight match (if we're using the expanded weight classes). His opponent can come in at just over 140 lbs.

And I was right about the 20 second rule, gtfo.

I personally thought you had to be within the limit of a weight class to fight for a belt, unless it was at a catch weight.

In theory, as long as a fighter is 147lbs or under, he can weigh as little as he wants. Armstrong won the 147lbs against Ross, and weighed under the lightweight limit of 135lbs while doing so.

If he can get sanctioned he can weigh 50lbs. It's a maximum for WW not a minimum. It's a trick question. :yep

Catchweights are contractual and only sanctioned in title fights if the petitioning titlist and challenger are in agreement along with the state commissioning the fight.
Like another poster said, wieght limits are just that....limits. While a sanctioning body would be setting themselves up for ridicule in doing so, they could technically allow a guy like Broner to move up to WW andf fight for a title without even beating a LW first. Broner could weigh in at 134 and still make the fight. His weight is at his and his camps discretion so long as it's with the limits of the sanctioning bodies maximum.

Yea I get that. It isn't done that much these days, so I was thinking within the confines of the weight class.
