hahaha - 1 correct answer, good for you Corky.... dat-a-boy

A 134lb man would not be allowed to fight a 147lb man. You are incorrect.

heavyweights have no limit in weight difference.

Fine, we'll say the commision is the Association of Boxing Commisions/unified rules.

    1. No weight minimum for a welterweight fight. WW maximum weight is 147lbs. While I know it's more than a pound, I can;'t be bothered to google the weight of an adult's skeleton. But subtract that weight from 147, and there's your difference. :D
    2. Tom "Boom Boom" Johnson
    3. ...I think this predates Hearns but the only fighter who I know named his right hand was Marciano- and he referred to his as "Suzie Q". As a guess, I'll say Joe Louis.
    4. One in the ring.
    5. If it's on the bell, the ref starts counting. See Freitas-Barrios as an example of this.
    6. Twenty.

that's a needle in a hey stack, mine are general questions. I'll play though, the only thing that I want to know are what weightclasses this fighter fought out of.

    3 of 6 correct

its not satisfaction in what I know, it's the general ignorance of the forum that entertains me, dumby.

this stuff is trivial, i think one's boxing knowledge is best at display on how well he can breakdown a fighter or predict fights

Fail. It's already happened. Armstrong defeated Ross to win the WW title while weighing under 134lbs. Barney Ross weighed over the 140lb limit and as therefore a true welterweight.

Since your original question wasn't particularly well worded, I'm considering the answer I gave to be correct.:bart
