    heavyweights have no limit in weight difference.

    Fine, we'll say the commision is the Association of Boxing Commisions/unified rules.

    1. No weight minimum for a welterweight fight. WW maximum weight is 147lbs. While I know it's more than a pound, I can;'t be bothered to google the weight of an adult's skeleton. But subtract that weight from 147, and there's your difference. :D

    this stuff is trivial, i think one's boxing knowledge is best at display on how well he can breakdown a fighter or predict fights

    Fail. It's already happened. Armstrong defeated Ross to win the WW title while weighing under 134lbs. Barney Ross weighed over the 140lb limit and as therefore a true welterweight.

    Since your original question wasn't particularly well worded, I'm considering the answer I gave to be correct.:bart

    i dont recall there ever being an above middleweight champion or a division by that name for that matter.
