Thompson is much bigger than Porter. Boxrec lists 2" difference but it's at least double that.

Porter is circling in tight, jabbing up at the taller man's head. Thompson is trying to catch Porter with his arms held out. Porter is throwing high left hooks to the head on the way in, getting caught and tossed back but not countered. Thompson bends his knees and slugs with Porter in an exchange, landing a clubbing right but eating a few hooks. Clinch and spin, Porter's head trapped as the ref warns Thompson to let him go.

Witherspoon's record is so padded. He's got lots of sponsorship, so he's been able to cherry pick his opponents.

Thompson is forking out his jab and then swinging his right arm out to envelop Porter and draw him into a clinch. Thompson is ramming his head down in the clinches and getting warned. Porter darts in and hooks, then darts out if not grabbed.

Round 3

Porter is firing his jab up at Thompson's chin and then hurtling inside with overhand rights. Thompson is pouncing down on him, trying to hold and smother him. The result of these clashing strategies is a lot of incidental headbutts. Porter is landing a bit more, but most of his overhand rights are just clubbing Thompson in the spine. Thompson is sticking some jabs in to the body while falling atop Porter but not landing any better when it comes to clean and effective punches. Porter is muscling in and trying to chop Thompson down. Porter backs out and circles left, with Thompson following and jabbing. They punch into a clinch again, both missing as Porter reaches up for Thompson's head on his toes. Porter darts in and out, missing jabs. Thompson gets him in a headlock and pulls him back into the ropes. Thompson shoeshines to the body at the bell, still pinned.
