    Dawson is jabbing from outside. Hopkins is staying off the jab, bouncing around on the outside and blocking with both hands, moving his head. Hopkins caught with a hard southpaw 1-2. Dawson spins on his rear leg, keeping turned to stare at Hopkins on the outside and aim his jabs and long-distance left crosses. Slapping left uppercut by Dawson while circling close by Hopkins. CompuBox has it 10-4 to Dawson in connects. Sounds about right. Clinch. Cotton breaks them. Right jabs by Dawson. Hopkins jumps in and clinches, landing a left jab on the way in.

    Dawson pumping the jab and throws left to the body. Another left to the body from Dawson. Bhop throws the head down and is tied up. Hopkins throws the lead right. Jab left from Dawson and Bhop tries to circle out. 2 slapping lefts from Dawson Another lead right from Bhop. Hard jab right hook off the jab from Chad. His round again.

    Hopkins is setting this up well already taking the jab and workrate away. Dawson needs to break out of this early before he falls into the trap. He already seems to be losing his game plan a bit.
