Big exchanges, with Munoz pushing Revish back to the ropes with uppercuts but getting countered with hooks and straight rights to the face. Revish is ducking and swooping to make Munoz miss his bombs and tapping him back with light shots.

Round 2

Munoz is pounding away, still throwing too many uppercuts from too far out, but forcing Revish to the ropes and cracking him with some jabs and rights to make his giant dreadlocks tickle his back as his head is jarred. Revish is countering lightly as before, but less successful defensively and not keeping Munoz at bay.

Round 3

Munoz jabs the body as Revish backs straight up. Munoz leans in and slips a right in between Revish's arms. Revish slaps out a left and right hook while backing up. Munoz pushes him into a corner landing hard rights. Revish flurries back but gets held in place by Munoz's left arm and hit hard with an uppercut. Revish flees to the opposite ropes but Munoz does the same thing, holding with the left and uppercutting with the right. Revish eating some flush uppercuts!! Wobbling off the ropes! Hooks to the face by Munoz!! Rocky Burke steps in!! Munoz hits Burke a few times by accident!! Burke has an iron beard!

Munoz was still throwing in the heat of the moment and hit the referee during the act of protecting Revish. Refs always take that chance when they do that...

 

Round 1

This is an instant war! Jabs to the body by Alderette, and cuffs across the top of the head by Correa. Wild right haymaker by Alderette, and Correa pops him with a left and then a big overhand right. They clinch and infight ferociously. Wide hooks traded on the outside. Long 1-2 by Correa. Alderette dives in trying to hold and is cracked with an overhand. Big left hook by Correa. Mouthpiece out. In. Alderette is throwing wide hooks from outside, and Correa is doing the same - but mixing in some wide right hands. Both are landing heavy leather, all bang on the chin. Correa seems a bit more diverse in his punch selection and maybe the slightly harder hitter. A bit of wrestling.

Round 2

Clear path for both men, landing hard hooks and overhands. Correa seems to be holding up a bit better. Alderette keeps trying to match him shot for shot. In the clinches especially (frequent as their high, wide punches get their arms tangled overhead) Correa is landing the harder stuff with his clubbing rights over the top.

20-18 Correa

 

Round 3

Looping right by Alderette, and Correa counters down the middle with a BIG right hand. Alderette is rocked but doesn't budge. Alderette throws some more wide hooks back at Correa. A few more hard counters, sending sweat flying off Alderette's head into the fifth row, and finally Alderette takes a couple of backward steps. Correa comes in hooking, and then clubs down across Alderette's neck with a right. Alderette's nose is bloody. They lean together and clinch, then pull apart without any referee intervention and trade hooks while moving in different directions. BIG shots landing for Correa. Alderette is punching back, but having more and more blood drawn from every facial orifice with each Correa blow. Alderette is dead tired, throwing arm punches and getting clocked in return. Showing good chin and heart.

30-27 Correa

 

Round 4

Hard looping right to the ear by Correa!! Followed up by several chopping shots, unanswered! Alderette is a punching bag!! Finally, he throws back! Correa is getting in four licks to one on Alderette. The referee is having a close look. Alderette refuses to go down, and seems intent on seeing the final bell despite showing no instinct to hold or run. He just stands his ground and punches back, just flapping arm punches!! Correa cracks him in the skull, over and over!! Now Alderette switches it up, dropping rights to the body! A bit more success with that! Big hooks to the face by Correa!!
