Yefimovich has been boxing beautifully, easily winning every round.

    I hope he KO's MaligFAGGI . . .

I'm predicting a tight UD win for Senchenko. . .

THis fight will look similar to Diaz/Malignaggi, but Senchenko has more power, a better jab, and is just overall better. . . But the fight will look similar.

Should be more like three hours from now give or take ten minutes (so, around 11pm Ukraine time) - unless their broadcast is on one-hour delay for some reason. :think

Of course, the same broadcaster did show Ustinov vs. Gavern on about an hour delay last week - so maybe that's just how they roll. :!:

Luckily, Western TV is showing most of the full undercard. (including this ongoing bout they picked up in progress)

    :good

The Argentine is game, loading up on big overhand rights - just totally outclassed in mobility, agility, and boxing skill.

Just as he can't seem to pick a ring name (having both "El Tigre/The Tiger" and "Ajercito/The Soldier" printed on the front and back of his trunks respectively) Santillan can't seem to decide on an offensive strategy.

Lunging in and jabbing the body after running a carousel route around his opponent - nope, not working. Yefimovich dodging and countering him with ease.

Overhand rights sailing in from outside - nope, not working. Yefimovich dodging and countering him with ease.

Wild wrecking ball shots from the hip while marching straight in - nope, not working. Yefimovich dodging and countering him with ease.

He keeps alternating between those, and just rocking his arms and torso on the outside, keeping up bloodflow and rhythm but without a clue what move to make next.

Yefimovich is showing tricky footwork, a nice snappy straight jab, and some variety of punches. 1-2, 3 to the body. Jab, hook off the jab, looping right while Santillan's eyes are drawn to the active left.

    Good stuff.

    Very one sided.

OK, after this only one more bout before the main event.

Iago Kiladze vs. Julien Perriaux, 12 rounds @ cruiserweight.

All other undercard results are up on Boxrec already.

There is at least one Ukrainian boxer involved in every match on the card.

So far they're 2-1 as a "national team", likely about to go 3-1.

Yefimovich had a great sequence in the 9th, really tearing up Santillan's face with several flush power punches.

Santillan took his lumps like a man and actually threw a bit back. Yefimovich was caught by a couple of right hands, forgivable as he was landing ten bombs for every one he took in his attempt to give the fans a big finish.

Didn't get it. Santillan is tough.
