Another American legend in his 40's, tailor made for Lebedev...

Lebedev might be too big, strong, and powerful for Hopkins at this point.

Calzaghe fought Hopkins, when Hopkins was on the best run of his career (Wright, Tarver then Pavlik) and was the ring magazine champion... Calzaghe never faced another fighter in his 40's :patsch

Would be a mistake, I think he's good enough even now to beat a Lebedev but the power and size Lebedev brings is just too much of a risk for Hopkins to even consider.

I dont think Hopkins was outclassed by Dawson at all, though admit that he didnt do enough to win. That shows Hopkins still has top class ability.
Its a tough one to call with Hopkins hit and hold style because Lebedev may be a bit too strong for Hopkins up close.
Lets not forget Hopkins first world title was at MW and even though he is at LHW now at 47 CW seems a big jump

Joe's career is garbage buddy. Honestly Lebedev does not need to do much to surpass Calzaghe's miserable career of ***** slapping.:good

Nobody knows him not even at europe:rofl He is British ATG.

I take it Joe beat one of your favourite fighters? :patsch

He's the most accomplished SMW of all time, and went up to win the title at LHW. Hardly garbage.

Lebedev is too big and strong for Hopkins.

Would probably be a good fight though.

Hopkins going up in weight that much at this age, I don't see it. Even though Hopkins may walk around at 185ish he would still need to gain weight all while keeping in shape. Lebedev would have a good chance at KOing him.

Hopkins needs to retire. Honestly I'm sick of watching fights with his dirty cheating tactics and antics. It is so blatant yet he somehow gets away with it. Who saw how he tried to dive out of the ring against Dawson but stopped himself because it would be too obvious?

Lebedev has made a habbit of beating up my child hood heros.

If he beat Hopkins he'd probably fight Batman next and then the **** would really hit the fan with me.
