Yeah, thinking back, it really was the most complete performance of his career. (and maybe the biggest win in terms of importance...neck and neck in both departments with the first N'Dou encounter)

This union with Eric Brown - which is going on a year and a half, covering his last four wins - seems to be a very snug fit.

Paulie really seems impressionable, insofar as his performances are affected deeply by how much chemistry and ability to gel he has with his trainer.

Under Buddy, who he hated (and who changed his style rather drastically) he looked like sloppy ass and was being written off as an even remotely plausible LWW contender.

Now he's risen to WW champ under Brown. Seems to have incorporated some strength training, finally added some zip to his punches without losing any of his trademark speed. (in fact, the speed has even improved some now that he isn't draining himself anymore as was starting to show in the Diaz rematch and against Khan...)

Devon's flashy-speed-over-accuracy style isn't going to see him connecting much against this current version of Malignaggi, IMO. One of those big eraser uppercuts? I don't think so..
