At this point, Wlad or Vitali would batter Mitchell. Seth needs at least 4 more fights...

Thompson vs Mitchell down the road....Arreola vs Mitchell...Adamek vs Mitchell...

in each of those fights Mitchell would be the underdog, and he would have a slim chance of winning at this point in his career

his best chance would be against Thompson, who's going to be shot to **** after Wlad puts him to sleep again in July

Mitchell would get overwhelmed by Arreola's power and superior punching skills

against Adamek he doesn't have the speed, the reflexes, the ring intelligence or experience to win

I was impressed. Not from a skills stand point.....he has a LOT he needs to work on n order to really make some noise.....at this point Chris Areola would be far too much for him although I do see a "diamond in the rough". Seth has a lot liabilities that a fighter like Chazz couldn't capitalize on. It also helped that Chazz was tight, tense and fighting scared. You could see the nervous energy from him in round one where he actually was able to keep the jab in Seths tac long enough to set him up with the right which had Seth in trouble. His heart, talent and athletic ability are there for sure.....he reminds me of a young Hasim Rachman who also comes from MD and didn't start boxing until his mid 20s

    Total, complete bull****.

Mitchell's stock took a hit last night. We already knew that Seth CANNOT BLOCK A RIGHT HAND...what we didn't realize, is that Seth cannot take a punch, either.

Chazz is no big puncher, yet he had Mitchell on ***** street in round one. In fact, if Chazz hadn't been so bull headed in round 2, and if only he had stuck with his move and jab, cross with the right strategy, he might have finished the job.

Mitchell is the new Derrick Jefferson.

Mitchell is muscle bound. Rahman wasn't. Rahman was simply a superior fighter.

Seth would have been KO'd in 1 round by Corrie Sanders. The Brewster of 2004 would have been too much for Seth, too, and beat him KO.

It's possible that the 1999 Puritty could have outlasted Seth and scored a late round stoppage.

    Seth is a fraud.

I said he reminds me of Hasim.....not the style but his background. Hasim was definitely more technically solid but their frames, very similar. Seth is simply more cut and defined but power, athletic ability and talent seems to be on Par with one another. Seth needs some more fights like Chazz to help him get that experience before talking about the klits.

If he continues to work really hard, has the right matches with the remarkable learning Hbo harped about, he might become A GATE KEEPER.

I didnt read where the T S mentioned anything about Mitchel fighting any of the Klits. He merely stated that the mans stock went up as a result of the fight and I agree with him because he showed another attribute that will make him an excellent heavy weight. He is a work in progress and he is comming along fine.:bbb:bbb

Which attribute is that? Seth has looked exactly the same in his last 3 fights.

    -And that's the problem.

  14. I'm serious. Witherspoon is better than anyone stiff boytsov has faced. Withersponn hits harder than smelly Huck who rocked fat Russian slob Povetkin.
Seth kills all those bums. Only UK and USA fighters are any good after the Klits. The Euro stiffs like Povetkin,Boytsov,Pulev and Dimitrenko all suck dick.
Mitchell,Chisora,Fury,Bryant Jennings are the real contenders.

  15. In case you havent noticed,Wlad was already stopped like a ***** 3 times. He has a shitty chin and now he fights scared always. I think Wlad has a huge heart and massive power and is the champ for sure but Seth Mitchell is still young and will improve. He was hit with a hard shot-big deal! He still won in good fashion. At least we know he has heart and at least a decent chin.
